Caring for you and your loved ones
Funeral Directors and Celebrants across the UK are developing protection plans for the safety of families during these unprecedented and worrying times, as you are aware there is currently a spike in Covid-19 rates in Scotland. The main desire is for funerals to be as normal as possible whilst minimising the risk of transmission and to keep you and your loved ones safe and well.
While it is currently possible for me to visit you at home I would respectfully request that the following guidelines from The Scottish Government are followed. Please make sure that windows are opened, social distancing is respected and masks are worn where possible.
To ensure your safety I am also very happy to continue to conduct interviews in gardens and also by telephone, whattsapp and zoom video calls.
Please see guidance from the Funeral Celebrancy Council. Please see here for further information, or click the file below.
*If a face to face family Interview is deemed necessary, we are required by law that meetings take place outdoors.
Over the last 15 years I have conducted many family interviews by telephone, Skype etc. Using this form of communication does not in any way detract from delivering the very best service for your loved one and of course you, will still receive a draft email of the service from the telephone/Skype interview so you can make any changes you wish before the funeral.
During the Funeral Service Social Distancing practices will be in place, at the recommendation of the Industry.
Please be reassured that you and your loved ones will still receive the very best level of care and Service from Bespoke Civil Ceremonies.
As the COVID 19 situation is fast paced and evolving, we will update this message in accordance with any further advice from the funeral business.
Take good care of yourselves and each other
